WANT COST-EFFECTIVE LEADS FROM LINKEDIN?

Linkedin Advertising Expert

With more than 19 years in performance marketing and paid social (first campaigns were launched in 2006), I provide Linkedin advertisment services. I use this platform to create predictable B2B lead flow, support sales pipelines and run account based programs. My main areas of work include audience research and layering, offer and funnel design, ad creative direction, Insight Tag and event tracking setup, lead gen form optimisation and ongoing campaign tuning to keep CPL under control and lead quality stable.

LinkedIn Account & Performance Audit

A structured review of the existing LinkedIn setup, including account hierarchy, campaigns, targeting, budgets, bidding, placements and audience exclusions. Creative assets are assessed against performance to identify which combinations actually drive qualified leads and opportunities. Insight Tag implementation and event tracking are checked so reporting remains accurate. As a result, you get a clear list of prioritised growth opportunities that reduces wasted spend, stabilises cost-per-lead and prepares the account for scalable lead generation.

Linkedin Campaign Setup & Management

Campaign setup covers strategy development, objective choice, targeting specs, bidding model, budget split, placements, frequency, and ad copies - all aligned to a clear outcome such as PDF downloads, booked meetings or pipeline contribution for a specific account. Ongoing campaign management is built around weekly optimisation (3 times per week assessment), with budgets shifted to responding audiences, underperforming campaigns paused early, and creatives rotated before fatigue. I covered my LinkedIn advertising approach in detail in this blog.

Tracking, Insight Tag and CRM Integration

Accurate tracking is treated as a separate implementation task, not an afterthought. Insight Tag and conversion events are configured across the site, UTM standards are applied and custom conversions are set up to reflect key funnel steps such as lead submission, qualified status and opportunity creation. Native lead gen forms or landing page forms are connected to CRM and marketing automation systems with mapped fields and routing rules that match internal processes. This provides a reliable view of which campaigns produce sales-ready leads.

Account Based Marketing on LinkedIn

I use ABM to shift from broad lead volume to high-value account focus. In my approach, we identify and prioritise a small set of target accounts with the highest potential. For each account, we deeply research key decision-makers and pain points, then craft personalised multi-channel campaigns that deliver tailored content and experiences throughout the buying journey. This includes aligned sales and marketing efforts, custom messaging, account-specific assets, and ongoing performance analysis to refine engagement and drive faster deals with stronger ROI.

LINKEDIN ADS MAY HAVE HIGH COST PER LEAD. I KNOW PROVEN WAYS TO REDUCE IT.

Not all companies can afford a social media advertising expert, especially LinkedIn certified insider. As a result, many campaigns are left without regular optimisation, use very broad targeting, creatives and formats that don't work. They spend budget on people who are unlikely to ever become customers, or set campaigns up to spend unsustainable amount of money for several clicks. Does this resonate with your LinkedIn Ads experience?

Effective LinkedIn advertising is all about starting conversations with the qualified decision-makers, create a predictable flow of opportunities from them and keep the cost per opportunity within an agreed range. When these outcomes are not visible, advertising spend turns into a vague “brand activity” rather than a measurable growth driver.

Real performance comes from unconvential approach to LinkedIn. My campaigns are structured according to funnel stages, so the platform can optimise for various goals correctly. Audiences are designed to reflect full buying committees. Creatives are mostly messages in the Sponsored InMail campaigns that are optimised for leads. I rarely land traffic on website and prefer to use LinkedIn Forms that are proven to have better conversion rate. InMails + Forms strategy allows generating leads for much lower cost compared to industry averages.

Free Evaluation Offer: LinkedIn Paid Social Mini Audit

Many LinkedIn campaigns underperform because of not economically viable cost-per-lead and low reply rates. Targeting layers might be too broad, messaging does not reflect real buying roles, and most obvious campaign types have unsustainable click pricing. This mini audit is designed to quickly surface those issues and show where performance is being lost.

The review focuses on how your LinkedIn account is structured today, how audiences are defined, how offers are positioned for decision makers, and what campaigns / creatives are used. The goal is clarity on what is blocking scale and where immediate improvements can be made.

What’s included:

  • Review of LinkedIn audience structure, targeting logic and exclusions
  • Assessment of messaging, offers and funnel alignment for B2B buyers
  • Tracking and conversion setup check to link ads with real pipeline actions

The result is a clear snapshot of what is holding performance back, where budget is being wasted, and which changes are most likely to improve lead quality and cost efficiency before scaling further.

LinkedIn Advertising Pricing

The cost of advertising services includes two main components:

  • Consulting Fee: This fee will include initial consultation, campaign creation, ongoing management, optimization, and reporting. The extent of the particular development project that has to be carried out will determine the fee. The fee is based on the specific services your business requires and the overall objectives of your plan.
  • Advertising Budget: This is the real spend encountered on the LinkedIn ad platform. It is not part of the consulting fee and is for the direct subsidizing of the operations of the ad platforms that you use for your campaigns. This implies that advertising costs are sensitive and vary in instants, such as competition, keywords, regions, and languages, among others.

LinkedIn advertising engagements typically start with a one-off account and campaign audit (AUD 500–1,800 excl. GST) or a full LinkedIn Ads setup and strategy kick-start (AUD 800–3,000 excl. GST), followed by monthly management retainers ranging from AUD 500–3,000 excl. GST depending on account complexity, targeting depth and reporting requirements. Hourly LinkedIn Ads consulting is available from AUD 150 excl. GST, with performance-linked models offered selectively where lead quality and conversion tracking can be clearly defined.

All these prices are solely for my consulting efforts. In addition to consulting fees above, there may be direct costs such as advertising budgets, translation tools, copywriting and web development services.

Why Hire a LinkedIn Ads Expert Instead of an Agency?

Hiring a LinkedIn Ads expert instead of an agency gives you direct access to senior-level strategy and execution without paying for account managers, juniors or internal overhead. You work with me directly actually making decisions in your account, which means faster iteration, clearer accountability and strategies tailored to your exact business model rather than agency playbooks. For B2B and ABM-driven LinkedIn campaigns, this usually results in tighter targeting, better lead quality and lower wasted spend, while keeping costs predictable and communication straightforward.

Linkedin Advertising Services FAQ

How do you ensure LinkedIn ads reach the right decision-makers?

Targeting is built around job title or job function, job seniority, skills, company attributes, and target account lists. This granularity allows to reach target audience for a relatively low cost. Campaigns also structurally separate influencers, buyers, and champions into different audiences so messaging matches their role in the buying process.

How long does it take to see results from LinkedIn marketing?

Initial signal usually appears within the first few weeks through form submissions. Pipeline impact takes longer, typically one to three months, depending on deal complexity and sales cycle length.

Why hire an individual expert instead of building an in-house team?

Building an in-house LinkedIn team requires hiring, training, tooling, and ongoing experimentation. Working with a LinkedIn advertising expert provides immediate access to tested frameworks, account-level insights, and proven optimisation processes without long ramp-up periods. This often results in faster time to pipeline impact and lower cost per qualified lead compared to internal trial-and-error.
